When you have purchased a steel blank, your next step is to choose which material you want to use for the hand grips (scales) eg Wood,Bone Horn,Antler, Shell, Silver
Now you have chosen the type of scales you want, the journey really begins. If you want Bone scales do you leave them flat or curved plain or carved ?, stained or natural colour ?
